DELBOND M100 HD 54300
General description:
DELBOND M100 HD 54300 is a thin and bonding product made of a cured based of woven glass epoxy covered on each side by one layer of gauged woven glass impregnated with epoxy resin at B stage.
DELBOND M100 HD 54300 present high mechanical properties at elevated temperatures.
Main characteristics:
Delbond M 100 HD 54300 consists of a base layer of woven glass impregnated with a cured epoxy resin which is then laminated on one side with one layer of gauged woven glass, impregnated with epoxy resin at stage B to form Delbond M 100 HD.
Application :
Delbond is mainly used for bonding and insulating in one operation, copper bar rotor coils of turbine generators.
Delbond M 100 HD is particularly suitable for the insulation of coils end windings but also the straight parts or rotor bars.
The advantage of the high performance DELBOND M 100 HD is the high precision assembly application. Their design ensures a low reduction of thickness after the pressing process and enables the use of automatic insertion machines.
Delbond M 100 HD has a very low resin flow and therefore avoid long cleaning operations during assembly.
Cure Conditions:
In order to obtain a good bonding and optimum results, Delbond should be cured for one hour in a press at a temperature of 160°C under apressure of 150 N/cm²
Storage Conditions:
Delbond may be used up to six months after the date of production if kept in its original packaging and at a temperature lower than 25°C or 12 months at a temperature of 4°C.
Packaging:
Delbond is supplied:
- in rolls : width 1050 +/-5mm and length of 100 meters
- in tapes : width > or = 10 +/-0.2mm and length of 100 meters
Delbond is supplied with a polyethylene film between the layers to prevent them from sticking together. This film should be removed before use.
